So, with the idea in mind that ETW will probably start in about 1700, other periods not covered by the game would include the wars of religion (the French Wars of Religion, the Eighty Years War, the Thirty Years War), the English Civil War (though tbh I've had enough of the British Isles after the two expansion campaigns about it and the numerous mods) and, of course, Louis XIV's wars (War of Devolution, Dutch War, Nine Years War, Spanish Succession War, though the latter is probably featured in the game).Īlso, mods centred on Russian expansion or the Moghul Empire would be great, too. Also, there's the 1848 revolutions that are interesting (especially the Hungarian revolution), the 1830 Belgian revolution and the German wars against Austria and Denmark but on the whole the more interesting theatres would be pre-19th century Europeans started fighting less after the Napoleonic Wars. And I think several mods focusing on a single area such as the Boer Wars, Opium War, Crimean War, Franco-Prussian War (Bit later, but do-able), is very likely.The Boer Wars were after the Franco-Prussian War.
